Support your local market! The Houlton Community Market happens each Saturday from Memorial Day to Indigenous People's Day from 8:30am to 12:30pm in Houlton's historic Market Square. Keep up with market happenings and special events by checking out the market's Facebook page - facebook.com/houltonmarket/
For the 8th year in a row, the market will be accepting Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) cards, in conjunction with "Maine Harvest Bucks" incentive vouchers that can be used only for the purchase of fresh fruits and vegetables. The market is also able to process credit and debit cards. Visit Marie Taft at the market's Information Booth to find out how to use your SNAP card or credit card at the market and find out about this season's children's activities.
