August 29 - Grazing Field Day at Moosehead Ranch and Farm in Smyrna. Farmer-led, this field day will cover such topics as setting up the right watering system for your rotational grazing, understanding your field, nutrient cycling and forage quality, simple ways to improve soil quality, and more. Speakers include grass-fed and finished livestock farmers Gabe Clark of Cold Spring Ranch in New Portland, Jeremiah Wood of Wood Family Farm in Ashland, and Jonas Esch of Moosewood Ranch and Farm in Smyrna. October 12 - Aroostook Apple Day is back in 2024! We will have workshops on topics related to fruit orchards, cider pressing, and apple and pear tastings. Stay tuned for more information on this fun day to be held at the Unitarian Church and Cup Cafe in Houlton. 10am - 2pm
